Awards Circuit Power Hour Episode 64: More Festival Round-Up, News, and Categorizing the Globes

POWERHOUR_LOGO_NEW1Welcome to another edition of the Awards Circuit Power Hour, our weekly podcast diving deep into all things film, television, and entertainment.

The staff is back this week with lots of talk regarding some of the big films that have premiered at festivals including “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” and “The Railway Man,” “Can a Song Save Your Life?” and “The Fifth Estate.”

Outside of the festival circuit, “Captain Phillips,” “Diana,” and “Rush” have screened to some outstanding reviews and pummeling words.

We also get into talk about which films will try to sell themselves as comedies or dramas for the Golden Globe awards this year but not before we get into debate about Best Actor and who the frontrunner REALLY is.

We also bring you the news of the week.

Have a listen!
