Weekend Openings: 10/11/2013

Prepare to thrilled in a pirate film of a whole new kind as Paul Greengrass directs Tom Hanks in Captain Phillips.  Hanks’ performance is being hailed as one of his best in years and an Oscar nomination could very well be in his future.  Another version of Romeo and Juliet, this one starring rising young actress Hailee Steinfeld, Machete Kills and a roundup of other smaller releases makeup the newbies at theaters this weekend.
