Weekend Openings: 11/1/2013

Orson Scott Card’s beloved sci-fi novel Ender’s Game finally makes its way to the big screen for the first time with the talents of Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield.  Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline all test out their funny bone together in the aged buddies weekend in Last Vegas.  There’s some potential for Oscar bait with Diana for Naomi Watts and Dallas Buyers Club for Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto.  Animated feature Free Birds fills the mini dry spell of animation films as of late.
