Costume Designers Guild Award Nominates ‘American Hustle,’ ‘Her,’ and more

la-ca-1204-american-hustle-costumes-03-jpg-20131209Here now we have the Costume Designers Guild chiming in with their 2013 nominees. The thing that I really noticed with this one is that American Hustle has continued a perfect run with the guilds, something no other film can claim, give or take the 12 Years a Slave argument since it was ruled ineligible by the Writers Guild. Other than that, we have a nice wide variety that Oscar will choose from (including a citation for Her), though the notable snub here is probably The Invisible Woman, though since I’m not wild about that film, I don’t mind it all that much.
