Phoenix Film Critics Winners – Fassbender and Stallone Get the ‘Spotlight’

stevejobs_michaelfassbenderThe Phoenix Film Critics announced their winners yesterday, naming “Spotlight” as the year’s best film.  They also gave kudos to George Miller’s direction on “Mad Max: Fury Road.”  Michael Fassbender added another prize to his tally for his work on “Steve Jobs” while Sylvester Stallone made another compelling case for himself winning Supporting Actor for “Creed.”

Alicia Vikander picked up another mention for “Ex Machina” and NOT “The Danish Girl” while Brie Larson won Best Actress respectively.

Best Score: Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL, Mad Max: Fury Road

Best Comedy Film: The Big Short

Best Science Fiction Film: Ex Machina

Best Mystery or Thriller Film: Sicario
