Houston Film Critics Society Nominations – Double Nods for Tom Hardy and Alicia Vikander


thedanishgirl_aliciavikanderThe Houston Film Critics Society unveiled their nominations on Wednesday where “The Revenant” and “Mad Max: Fury Road” led the nomination tally.  Alicia Vikander continued her streak of double nominations in the same category for “The Danish Girl” and “Ex Machina” but was joined by a double nod for Tom Hardy who scored mentions for both “Legend” and “The Revenant.”

Emily Blunt also nabbed one of her first mentions of the year for her work in “Sicario,” where the film also netted a Best Picture nomination among others.  One of the “Spotlight” boys managed love with Mark Ruffalo sneaking in Supporting Actor.
