The nominations for the annual BET Awards were announced earlier today, and the list features some of Hollywood’s biggest names in entertainment.

The awards, which were created in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network, honor African Americans and other minorities in sports, music, film and other parts of the entertainment industry. In film and television, this year’s Best Actress nominees include: Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Viola Davis. On the Best Actor side, Anthony Anderson, Courtney B. Vance, Idris Elba, Michael B. Jordan and O’Shea Jackson Jr. were all nominated.

Meanwhile, “Creed,” “Dope,” “Straight Outta Compton,” “Concussion” and “Beasts of No Nation” were all nominated for Best Movie.

The full list of nominees can be viewed below. The BET Awards will air live at 8 p.m. ET Sunday, June 26 on BET.
