26. “Black and Gold” – Fame (2009)

This is literally the only thing I recall from the remake of the 1980s drama, Fame. Much like its predecessor, I didn’t like it upon initial viewing and haven’t revisited it to see if my thoughts have changed. But, this dance – completely devoid of context, mind you – remains seared in my memory. Maybe it’s because of the Sam Sparro song, “Black and Gold,” but the dance itself is well-choreographed, energetic, and intense.
