TV: 10 Shows We Hope Aren’t Ignored by the Emmys

  1. Ash vs. Evil DeadAsh vs Evil Dead

I will concede that this show is very niche, as many fans already have an invested interest in the Evil Dead series. That said, the show should be in play for a handful of Emmy awards. In particular, Bruce Campbell should be considered for a Best Lead Actor comedy slot, though that is going to be tough. However, the make-up and production design in the show should be locks in the Emmy field. The show definitely functions as a hyper-crazy version of the films, and with the half-hour format, it should be easy enough for voters to watch at least the first couple episodes.
