  1. Jessica Jones

While many are wondering if superhero fatigue is a real thing, Marvel is going full speed ahead on Netflix. Say what you will about “Agents of SHIELD” or “Agent Carter,” but “Jessica Jones” had the best freshman season of any superhero show on TV today. Leading the way was an excellent Kristen Ritter, who was able to fully embrace the mental illness of her character, while giving one of the best dramatic performances by a leading lady in 2015. An excellent David Tenet provided the series with one of the most frightening villains in the MCU, whose charisma occasionally made the audience forget just how evil he truly was. With series like “Jessica Jones” it is difficult to want Marvel properties in any other format.
