While Rodriguez feels like the strongest play for the Emmy race, that would be unfair to Jaime Camil. Camil, a telenovela star himself, has turned in one of the best comedic performances on television. It is meta in all the right ways, and showcases his diverse talents similar to Emmy nominee Tituss Burgess. With Burgess a sure thing in the race, why isn’t Camil?
