The new trailer that premiered last week was very “paint by numbers,” but its polished look, along with a strong-looking performance from leads David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike, keeps this intriguing. The “Belle” director has proven herself to be competent and able to put forth a compelling tale, however, in a year that includes “Loving,” this seems like the “Infamous” to the “Capote.” It still needs a studio home at the moment, so perhaps we are looking at it for 2017.
