2017 IFP Gotham Awards: ‘Call Me By Your Name’ Wins Big

The 2017 Gotham Awards were announced Monday night in New York City.

The Gotham Awards are presented by the Independent Filmmaker Project, an organization dedicated to celebrating excellence in independent film.

This year’s ceremony was hosted by John Cameron Mitchell, and streamed live online. There were tributes to Jason Blum, Sofia Coppola, Al Gore, Dustin Hoffman, Nicole Kidman, and Ed Lachman.

The awards were fairly spread out among several Oscar hopefuls, with “Call Me By Your Name” and “Get Out” emerging as the big winners.
