WATCH: New Trailer, Poster and Official Pics for Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Wind River’

Take a look at the official trailer, poster and images for Taylor Sheridan’s “Wind River.” The action thriller stars Jeremy Renner (“Arrival”) and Elizabeth Olsen (“Captain America: Civil War”), with direction and screenwriting by Sheridan, who previously wrote “Sicario” and “Hell or High Water.”

“Wind River” is the story of a rookie FBI Agent Jane Banner (Olsen) who pairs up with a local game trapper Cory Lambert (Renner) to investigate the murder of a local girl on a Native American Reservation. The trapper has deep personal connections within the community and a tragic backstory, while Banner is a green government agent on her own with no backup to call for help. The pair struggle to find the killers in the middle of a harsh Wyoming winter.

“Wind River” also features Gil Birmingham (“Twilight” series), Jon Bernthal (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Julia Jones (“Twilight” series), Kelsey Asbille (“Teen Wolf”) and Graham Greene (“The Green Mile”).

Renner and Olsen previously worked together in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Captain America: Civil War,” where the pair played superheroes Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch. The film is already critically acclaimed, with Sheridan winning a Cannes Film Festival Un Certain Regard for Best Director. The film is made and distributed by The Weinstein Company and Acacia Entertainment.
