The pair joins Alexander England, who plays a musician competing for the love of his nephew’s kindergarten teacher. Chaos ensues when the zombie apocalypse starts.
“Little Monsters” will be written and directed by Abe Forsythe. The director previously worked on “Down Under” with England last year. In addition, Forsythe has written and directed a number of short films and several episodes of Australian TV series “Laid.”
Alexander England also appeared in “Gods of Egypt” and “Alien: Covenant” recently. He has also starred in a number of Australian TV series and mini-series.
Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o has worked non-stop since her winning role in “12 Years a Slave.” The actress appeared in “The Jungle Book” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with vocal and motion capture work. She will reprise her role of Maz Kanata in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” She also starred in the film “Queen of Katwe” She will appear in Marvel’s “Black Panther” this February. She is also in talks to star in the rebooted “Charlie’s Angels.”
Josh Gad has been a staple in film since the early 2000s. But it was his iconic voice work as the snow man Olaf in “Frozen” that really allowed him to break through. This year alone, he played LeFou in “Beauty and the Beast” and co-starred with Chadwick Boseman in “Marshall.” In November, he will star in the remake of Agathie Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express.”
“Little Monsters” is produced by Made Up Stories and Snoot Entertainment. Made Up is a newcomer. Snoot Entertainment was one of the companies that produced the critically acclaimed Oscar nominee “Anomalisa.”
The film is due out in theaters sometime in 2019.
