Reactions to the Golden Globe nominations continue to pour in from some of 2017’s best and brightest stars. Focus Features has released some official statements from three of their nominees and acting veterans, hailing from their films “Darkest Hour,” “Victoria & Abdul,” and “Phantom Thread.”

Gary Oldman, who stars in the Winston Churchill drama “Darkest Hour,” is nominated for best actor in a drama. He said of the nomination:

I am amazed, flattered and very proud of my first Golden Globe Nomination. I am also honored to find myself in such company as I am a serious admirer of all the work of all the other nominees.”

Judi Dench, who plays Queen Victoria in “Victoria & Abdul” and is up for best lead actress in a musical or comedy, kept her reaction short and sweet, saying:

The Golden Globes, hooray! What wonderful news on such a snowy day in London.

Jonny Greenwood, who scored Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Phantom Thread,” is up for best original score. He reminisced on his working relationship with Anderson, saying:

I’m honored to have my music in Phantom Thread  nominated alongside such talented film score composers.  This is the fourth film with my friend Paul Thomas Anderson. It’s a happy and productive partnership, one where I’m given a ridiculous amount of freedom to write music and explore ideas with him. I’m very glad to see this relationship recognised by such a nomination.
