Chicago Film Critics Association Awards: ‘Lady Bird’ Wins Best Picture

The Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) has just released their winners for the best in film this year. Coming out on top with for wins is Greta Gerwig’s “Lady Bird,” which won best picture, best actress (Saoirse Ronan), best supporting actress (Laurie Metcalf), and most promising filmmaker for Gerwig. “Call Me By Your Name” also put in a good showing, with Timothée Chalamet snagging awards for best actor and most promising performer alongside James Ivory for best adapted screenplay.
