Melissa McCarthy (“Ghostbusters”) is hitting the books in her latest project with husband Ben Falcone (“Nobodies”).

Acting on her early dreams of higher education, Deanna enrolls at a local college…ending up in classes with her own daughter, who’s not ready to see her mom at the local frat parties. Deanna (now Dee Rock) sets off to get her own college experience in a heartwarming story about freedom, fun and living life on your terms.
McCarthy stars alongside Gillian Jacobs (“Love”), SNL alum Maya Rudolph (“Bridesmaids”), Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”), Matt Walsh (“Ghostbusters”) and Molly Gordon (“Love the Coopers”). Stephen Root (“Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates”), Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Jessie Ennis (“Better Call Saul”), Adria Arjona (“True Detective”), Debby Ryan (“Jessie”), and Jimmy O. Yang (“Silicon Valley”) are also set to star.
Falcone directs from a script he and McCarthy co-wrote and also produced via their production banner On The Day. Falcone’s directorial team includes director of photography Julio Macat (“The Boss”), production designer Rusty Smith (“The Boss”), editor Brian Olds (“Central Intelligence”) and costume designer Louise Mingenbach (“The Hangover” series”). Fil Eisler (“Empire”) handled the music.
