Kansas City Film Critics Circle Winners – More Love for ‘Roma’ and A Tie for Bale and Hawke

Roma” continues to show real strength among the critics and the Kansas City Film Critics Circle is the latest to join the fray. In a tie, “Roma” and “The Favourite” take home the Best Picture prize. That wasn’t the only tie, with Christian Bale and Ethan Hawke also splitting a win for Best Actor. “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” also takes home a pair of prizes and a runner-up designation in Adapted Screenplay.
