Nevada Film Critics Society Awards Winners- ‘Green Book’ Takes The Top Honor

The Nevada Film Critics Society announced their winners and “Green Book” managed to take the top prize. However, it only took home the Best Film prize. As it turns out, they managed to spread the wealth with their winners. For instance, “The Favourite” took home three prizes: Best Supporting Actress for Rachel Weisz, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Production Design. Also, “Black Panther” pulled off a win in Best Adapted Screenplay which is a sign of strength. Because the film is likely to do well in craft categories, receiving love in major categories like Adapted Screenplay bodes well for its chances.

In addition, Richard E. Grant took home yet another Supporting Actor prize. Unless he ends up being mainly a critical darling, it feels like he is our current frontrunner for the Oscar. Also, Toni Collette and surprisingly, Nicole Kidman, pulled off a tie in Best Actress.
