Oklahoma Film Critics Circle Winners: Both ‘Roma’ and Yalitza Aparicio Emerge Victorious


The Oklahoma Film Critics Circle is the latest organization to give “Roma” a Best Picture prize. Therefore, “Roma” continues to be a critical force of nature. However, it received love in one other particular category as well. The film’s star Yalitza Aparicio managed to win Best Actress despite being in a competitive field.

In addition, Michael B. Jordan won Best Supporting Actor while “Widows” took home Best Ensemble. Also, both Regina King and Ethan Hawke continue their critical dominance in their respective categories.
