What’s on TV? – Wednesday (2/13/19) – Reality TV Finales Dominate Wednesday Night

We’ve moved on from premieres and are moving into finales on Wednesday. Tonight, the highlights are a pair of reality TV shows that are capping their entertaining series. If that’s not your speed, there are plenty of other new episodes airing tonight. Read through to plan what you should watch tonight.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (Bravo) Finale at 10 p.m. ET.

The ladies of New Jersey plan to wrap up their 9th season with a finale entitled “Hotheads and Hookahs.” “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs the final narrative episode at 9 p.m. ET. The tables have turned on alliances between the women. Danielle finds herself on the outs with the girls, with Theresa now as her only defender. Melissa’s search for a possible missing sister leads to a shocking discovery. Shade and wine will be thrown in equal measures on this finale. However, for those looking for more, the fun doesn’t stop here. The next two weeks will show the reunion specials as the ladies stop by with Andy Cohen to address any burning questions.

“Paranormal Caught on Camera” (Travel) at 10 p.m. ET.

Ever wonder what goes bump in the night? The Travel Channel wants to take us into the scariest paranormal events captured on camera. They pair these videos with testimony from paranormal experts who separate fact from fiction. The show had a soft premiere back in December, but it returns with its regularly scheduled programming at 10 p.m. ET. This week’s premiere takes on a seedy Texas motel room that houses a poltergeist and the Sasquatch mystery in British Columbia.

No shows are beginning new seasons tonight. However, there are plenty of other exciting new episodes airing tonight. Check them out below.

Another trash-terpiece of reality TV comes to an end tonight. On CBS, “Big Brother: Celebrity Edition” Season 2 crowns its winner. After the exit of actor Tom Green (“Freddie Got Fingered”) last week, the show is down to the final five. Ricky Williams, Dina Lohan, Kandi Burruss, Lolo Jones and Tamar Braxton are all vying for the $250,000 cash prize to be handed out tonight. Who will walk out a (much richer) winner? Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. ET to find out.

For those looking for a movie to watch, Showtime offers you up a perfect double feature. The “American Pie” franchise has had a tumultuous run. It starts with some instant classics but then peters out into a variety of straight to DVD knock-offs. Eugene Levy as Jim’s Dad was the only connective thread between all films. However, Showtime takes us back to when the franchise was fun and fresh. “American Pie,” the one that started it all, starts at 8 p.m. ET on Showtime. Immediately after at 10 p.m. ET, Showtime follows that up with “American Pie 2.” Return to high school and experience all the laughs, joy and bodily humor.
