**Circuit Q&A’s are our daily community question, posed to the readers of AwardsCircuit that cover various topics from film and television to general wonderings and for instances**
Yesterday was the 38th birthday for actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Despite that relatively young age, the man has accomplished a lot. A well-respected actor, he also founded the online collaborative production company known as HitRecord. For a few years, it was hard to go more than a few months without finding Gordon-Levitt in a high profile new project. Today, to honor him right after his birthday, we want to know what you consider to be his absolute best work. What has JGL done that has really blown you away?
For a number of you, Gordon-Levitt is best known for a few projects. One is a hit television show in “3rd Rock from the Sun,” while the cinematic offerings would consist of “(500) Days of Summer,” “10 Things I Hate About You,” and “Inception.” That’s a really diverse bag, one that shows a number of sides to JGL. Hell, that doesn’t even include things like “50/50,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” and “Looper.” Golden Globe-nominated twice, it’s only a matter of time before Oscar gets around to him.
Remember, Gordon-Levitt is a filmmaker too. He made his directing and writing debut with “Don Jon,” where he also starred. We actually filed a rave review back at the Sundance Film Festival, where it premiered under the longer title “Don Jon’s Addiction.” The man has talent, and actually is only beginning to scratch the surface. He’ll step behind the camera again before long, and when he does, watch out.
Your turn, ladies and gentlemen. In honor of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s birthday yesterday, what is JGL’s best? Have at it!
