Disney and Pixar have just released a new trailer for “Toy Story 4.” This sequel arrives nine years after the Oscar-winning “Toy Story 3.”
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprise their roles as the iconic toys, Hanks as a cowboy named Woody, and Allen as Buzz Lightyear. They both started with the franchise 24 years ago in 1995. Since then, they have reprised their roles for “Toy Story 2″and “Toy Story 3.”The original film was celebrated as Pixar’s first feature, as well as the first to be entirely computer animated. “Toy Story” also won Pixar a Special Achievement Academy Award.
The rest of the original cast includes Annie Potts, Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, as well as a few others. “Toy Story 4” adds a few new voices, including Tony Hale, and Michael Keaton. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele appear as a duck and a bunny. And John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves is set to voice a role that has yet to be revealed.

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.
