Good Morning America aired a clip for the upcoming “Avengers: Endgame” Monday morning. Comicbook.com was able to capture the aired footage and release it online shortly after.
In the new clip we see a determined Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel) suggest a course of action in defeating the villainous Thanos. The clip, according to /Film, is said to be from an extended footage reel that was showcased at this month’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Theater owner attendees got the exclusive treatment as they were given the visual appetizer for what is to come.
Last year’s “Avengers: Infinity War” blew advance ticket sales out of the water within its first six hours. “Avengers: Endgame” is estimated to outperform with an opening weekend gross of over $900 million worldwide. As detailed in a Deadline article, pre-sales for “Avengers: Endgame” flew at three times the rate they did in the first hour than its predecessor.
From online ticketing houses like AMC going down the morning of, this roaring entrant into the MCU is sure to be its biggest outing yet. As stakes are the highest they have ever been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the team assembles to take action. To avenge the fallen, and restore peace to the world. The world awaits to see the culmination of the ten-year, 22-film epic superhero journey.
“Avengers: Endgame” is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The screenplay is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Composer Alan Silvestri returns to produce the score for the film.
The ensemble main cast include Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, MMark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Don Cheadle, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin.
