UPDATE: HBO’s “Game of Thrones” set a record with 32 total nominations, including nine acting citations for its cast members.  The HBO epic wrapped its final season this year with a divisive reaction from its fan base but the TV Academy did not skip a beat when checking it off.

The other big nomination tally numbers came from Amazon Prime Video’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” which netted 20 nominations, HBO’s “Chernobyl” with 19, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” with 18, HBO’s “Barry” and FX’s “Fosse/Verdon” with 17 each, and Netflix’s “When They See Us” with 16.
