The new trailer for “Bad Boys For Life” has been released as Martin Lawrence and Will Smith reunite for one last mission. The film is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
“Ride together. Die Together,” the slogan reads. The new trailer for “Bad Boys For Life” sees Mike and Marcus introduced to a new assignment in Miami. While Mike has kept himself busy busting bad guys and remaining on the force, Marcus has settled down peacefully and wants to retire.
“I’m gonna be running down criminals until I’m 100,” says Mike. “Not me. I’m retiring,” responds Marcus. When the pair reunite, it’s back to business as they decide to take on one last ride together.
The sequel comes 25 years after the first film “Bad Boys” debuted in 1995, directed by Michael Bay. The film racked up over $141 million at the worldwide box office, sparking the follow up installment. Bay went on to direct the sequel “Bad Boys ll,” which brought in over $273 million worldwide.
The cast also includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Nunez, Kate Del Castillo, Nicky Jam and Joe Pantoliano.
El Arbi and Fallah have in the past directed the thriller “Image,” the 2015 action drama “Black” and are slated to direct another long-gestating project, “Beverly Hills Cop 4.” Chris Bremmer writes the script for the latest sequel, with drafts penned by writers Peter Craig and Joe Carnahan.
“Bad Boys For Life” is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Will Smith and Doug Belgrad. It is executive produced by Barry Waldman, Chad Oman, Mike Stenson and James Lassiter.
