It would appear that Gravity, Hustle, 12 years, and Her are all neck and neck at this point. I think Gravity and Her are the two to beat at the Critics Choice, which would only make these awards even more interesting. Finally a year with a little bit of a excitement in most categories, especially the biggies. This is awesome.

I Thought Last Year was a Great Year for Film. This Year Out Does It. This is going to be a fun race

Manning Franks

Impressive that Cuaron beat both McQueen and Russell when their films won Best Picture in their respective categories!

Jack Tylers

Minus Hustle, this was one of the first award shows in years when the winners were rightful choices, imo

I think 12 Years got knocked in the mouth at the Globes tonight. It took BP Drama, but I think that may have had a lot to do with 2 solid contenders not being in the category with it. Is it still a frontrunner? Only time will tell, but this awards season just got way more exciting.

These Golden Globes were very interesting to watch. I still haven’t seen Dallas Buyers Club, but will now have to check it out.

It was painful to see Lupita lose to Lawrence but i’m very happy that 12 years a Slave won the most important award of the night!

Jamie Teller

I literally screamed when 12 Years won. I’m still worried about its chances, but its win and the Her win made me happy. And the All is Lost win, that was cool.

Anthony Moseley

Pretty much happy with all the winners except Hustle, but even then I don’t necessarily hate the movie, just found it a bit undeserving I guess. Especially happy with the two Best Actor winners. REALLY hope Oscar doesn’t snub Leo again this year (something they seem to be infamous of doing).

Nice headline…12 Years a Slave for the win come Oscar night.
