Was a hell of a year!

2019 will go down as a historic year for film, I can feel it.

1. Parasite
2. The Irishman
3. Booksmart
4. 1917
5. Knives Out
6. The Two Popes
7. Uncut Gems
8. The Farewell
9. Little Women
10. Hustlers

Finally!! I was wondering when would this be up. It’s always fun to see the staff’s favourite movies. And this was indeed a great year for film.

My own ranking:
1. The Irishman
2. 1917
3. Parasite
4. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
5. Ford v Ferrari
6. The Lighthouse
7. Ad Astra
8. Uncut Gems
9. Pain and Glory (Dolor y Gloria)
10. Joker

It’s so strange that more than half of those were actually BP nominees at the Oscars. Doesn’t happen often for me but so glad this year it did.
