How do you follow up ranking films that begin with the letter G when so many of the greatest films of all time begin with that letter? Trick question, yo! You follow it with films that begin with the letter H, duh.
While this week doesn’t offer quite the bounty of choices that last week gave us, we still have plenty of options, including Best Picture winners The Hurt Locker, Hamlet, and How Green Was My Valley. While those films might not float your boat, you could select The Hunt for Red October (Get it? Think about it). Any of the Harry Potter or Hobbit films fit the bill, as do classics like Halloween, High Noon, The Hustler, and Hoosiers. Several other modern day classics (if you don’t mind me stretching that term a bit) include Heat, How to Train Your Dragon, The Help, History of Violence, Hugo, and The Hours.
So let us know what you think the best films are that begin with an H.
My Circuit 3 for films beginning with the letter H:
- High Noon (1952)
- The Hustler (1961)
- The Hurt Locker (2009)
