As Emmy season is upon us, the attention shifts from the big screen to the small screen.

With so much to see on television, cable, and streaming services, NBC offers a blend of scripted and unscripted programming. Some of their most popular shows are, of course, Emmy nominated “This Is Us,” “America’s Got Talent,” and a newcomer, “World of Dance.”

In anticipation of the season, NBCUniversal hosted press at the historic Universal Studios lot. I had the opportunity to sit down with a collection of the network’s stars for a day of interviews.

One of those conversations was with “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley. You can listen to that interview separately.

I did speak with Chris Hardwick, host of “The Wall,” “Red Nose Day,” and AMC’s “Talking” shows, but we have decided not to run that interview at this time. After that, I talked with “Timeless” star Abigail Spencer and Costume Designer Mari-An Ceo; and Damon J. Gillespie and Auli’i Cravalho of “Rise.”

As the afternoon went on, I also spoke with Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila from “American Ninja Warrior,” Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, Jenna Dewan and Ne-Yo from “World of Dance,” and wrapped up the day with Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell from “America’s Got Talent.”

It was a big day, full of interesting conversations about everything from craft to fans to women in the industry.

Please enjoy this super-sized interview episode.
