Chastain has been nominated twice for Academy Awards, once in Best Supporting Actress for “The Help,” and once in Best Actress for “Zero Dark Thirty.” The latter film is arguably her best performance to date, mixing all of her talents together into one intense turn. It won her a Golden Globe and nearly turned into an Oscar as well.
