**Circuit Q&A’s are our daily community question, posed to the readers of AwardsCircuit that cover various topics from film and television to general wonderings and for instances**

Make sure to make your official Oscar Predictions in our CIRCUIT CENTER before the Oscars begin TONIGHT at 8:00 PM ET.

Tonight is the big night. We’ve made it, ladies and gentlemen. It’s Oscar night. The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will be starting in a matter of hours, ending one of the more exhausting precursor seasons in memory. For many of you, this is the biggest night of the year. What we want to know today, to mark the occasion, is how you choose to celebrate. Is there something specific you do to commemorate Oscar night?

Do you have a tradition? It could be as simple as where you sit while watching, or who you root for? Meryl Streep fans, for example, have a horse in the race most years. Or, maybe you go to the same bar or friend’s house? Maybe it’s just a matter of what you make or order for dinner while watching the Oscar telecast? There’s no wrong answer here.

If you’re having a party, what does it entail? Do you have everyone fill out a ballot with what they’d be voting for, preference-wise? Perhaps you make a wager with them and do predictions? As long as you enjoy the Oscars, that’s what counts. For film fans, it’s the equivalent to the Super Bowl, so a party or gathering of some sort makes sense.

Clue us in to your Oscar plans for this year. What are you going to be doing for the Academy Awards tonight? We’re all ears, so let us know, and be sure to enjoy the show!

When he’s not obsessing over new Oscar predictions on a weekly basis, Joey is seeing between 300 and 350 movies a year. He views the best in order to properly analyze the awards race/season each year, but he also watches the worst for reasons he mostly sums up as "so you all don't have to". In his spare time, you can usually find him complaining about the Jets or the Mets. Still, he lives and dies by film. Joey's a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.

Popcorn, keeping a prediction score card and live tweeting.

My ritual is being frustrated with many of the results…

Alex German

For the last 3 years, and today, I go to the movies to see my number 1 of the year. Then I grab a pizza and watch the oscars. And I every year I get a stress headache because I dislike the results so much.

So I started watching the Oscars as a teenager with my mother. Now I live in a different city but I still try my best to come home every year and watch it with her. I make popcorn and we both make predictions. I’ve only missed one (the spotlight year) so far where we both watched but I called her and we talked on the phone while watching in 2 different countries.

For the past 5 years I’ve set up a “Fantasy Oscar Draft” with some friends that we do before the nominations – ya get some points for a nom and more for a win, scaled differently for different categories. Its a tradition that has carried on longer than I thought it would, and has proved to be a blast! if anyone’s interested I’d be happy to share the instructions.

I watch the Oscars like I do the Super Bowl, with intense focus.
