Critics Choice Awards: Winners Announced with LIVE Chat with Readers and Writers!

unnamed 4

Tonight, the Critics Choice Awards will be handing out their ballots for the best in film from the year 2018.  Airing on The CW, beginning at 7:00 pm Eastern Time, films such as Ryan Coogler’s “Black Panther,” Alfonso Cuaron’s “Roma,” and Bradley Cooper’s “A Star is Born” are expected to do very well.  Yorgos Lanthimos’ “The Favourite” leads in the nomination tally and could surprise with wins in Original Screenplay, tech categories, and perhaps even Best Actress for Olivia Colman and possibly Best Picture.

Winners could include Christian Bale, Lady Gaga, Richard E. Grant, Regina King, Barry Jenkins, and more. With Oscar voting set to end tomorrow (Jan. 14) this is one of the last impressions on voters before submitting their ballots!  And on the television side, you can expect lots of love for new shows from Netflix and Amazon to pop up with love.  FX’s “The Americans,” Showtime’s “Escape from Dannemora,” and the FX’s mini-series “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” leads on the television side.

The LIVE Chat is open for you to discuss your predictions and all the winners. As an active member, I (Clayton) will be on the red carpet and attending the show and will share videos and pictures as the night progresses. Enjoy the show.

Share all your thoughts in the comments below! You can go to THE CIRCUIT HUB to see the predicted winners!

Black Panther for Visual Effects? Have some credibility please.

What is going on with Bradley Cooper? He is just amazing in A Star is Born? Is he splitting votes with himself? Is he too good looking? What gives? He needs to win SAG.

Derrick
