First Look at Ultron from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

avengers-age-of-ultron-ew-cover-sliceUnless you’re up on the Marvel comic book universe (and I’m not), the character of Ultron isn’t someone that you’re likely too familiar with. Obviously, the studio wants folks to be excited for the villain (who will be played via motion capture by James Spader) of the next Avengers flick, especially since it is called Avenges: Age of Ultron, after all. As such, Entertainment Weekly has a big spread on the movie in their upcoming new issue, including our first decent look at Ultron. Personally, it looks a little bit silly, but so do most Marvel characters when you’re not seeing them in action, so I won’t judge too much. Joss Whedon‘s sequel hits theaters next year, so we’ll have plenty more to see between now and then. For now, you can see a better look at EW’s cover below, and stay tuned for lots more soon on this one…

When he’s not obsessing over new Oscar predictions on a weekly basis, Joey is seeing between 300 and 350 movies a year. He views the best in order to properly analyze the awards race/season each year, but he also watches the worst for reasons he mostly sums up as "so you all don't have to". In his spare time, you can usually find him complaining about the Jets or the Mets. Still, he lives and dies by film. Joey's a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
