First Official Photos from ‘Django Unchained’

django article story mainWhenever Quentin Tarantino releases a movie it’s sure to be anticipated every step of the way. Slowly but surely information is being released about the movie. Last week, we got an official synopsis and today, EW has released some fantastic new images from the film of stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jaime Foxx and Christoph Waltz.

Most people probably already have money saved away to go see this film on Christmas Day, but these glimpses are sure to get you even more excited for the film. Even though Quentin is known most for his dialog, he is a very visually adept director and both pictures give you that sense of being in a Western, especially with regards to the costuming.

The highlight of these two pictures in the photo of Leonardo DiCaprio. Many are probably worried about Leo possibly not jiving with Tarantino’s trademark style but that picture is fantastic. It’s so rich in color, with just a hint of tension as to what is actually happening in the scene. With the make up and costuming, Leo looks like he fits right in with this world.

The film will be released on December 25, 2012 and you can read the official synopsis of Django Unchained here.

Is it just me or does Leo look like he was in Gangs Of New York.

Should I just send my bank account to Quentin Tarantino?

Steve

The movie can look as great as it wants, that doesnt guarantee a good performance with an accent from DiCaprio. I will reserve my excitement until I see him pull it off.
