George Miller might direct ‘Man of Steel 2’

P75tSHKIf ever there was a juice rumor to marinate on for the weekend, it’s this one. Apparently, not only is George Miller potentially staying with Warner Brothers for his follow up to Mad Max: Fury Road, he might even be getting a chance to finally play with Superman. Yes, reports have floated the possibility that Miller is WB’s choice (or at least up) for the director’s chair in a direct sequel to Man of Steel. The thought of seeing the man who just missed getting Justice League Mortal off the ground a little under a decade ago making Man of Steel 2 is pretty juicy stuff. I’m sure Miller wants to make another Mad Max movie, so perhaps putting his spin on one of their superhero projects will give him the freedom to do what he wants with his own franchise? Again, this is just a rumor and speculation right now (I presume Henry Cavill would be the title character again as well), but if it turns out to be true, it would be rather interesting. As one of the few who seemed to really like Man of Steel, I’m down for a sequel. Stay tuned for more on Miller’s next film, Man of Steel 2, and more when we have it, but until then, feel free to speculate on the visuals of Miller making a Superman flick…
