Historical Circuit: The 9 Best Female Villains in Film

Baby Jane3. Baby Jane Hudson, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Bette Davis earned her final Oscar nomination for playing the titular Baby Jane opposite Joan Crawford in this ultimate tale of sibling rivalry. Davis is so compelling as Jane, slowly losing her mind to jealousy and rage as she torments her crippled sister, Blanche, in their retirement years. And while Jane becomes increasingly cruel and abusive, the climactic moment in this film raises the possibility that everyone is capable of being the villain of the story. Davis and Crawford are outstanding together and the characters of Jane and Blanche are amazing in their degrees of viciousness.
