Set after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” new King T’Challa returns home to Wakanda to take the throne. We soon learn the isolated but technologically advanced African nation is being pulled in two directions as old enemy Erik Killmonger returns. Will the young king defeat his foes and ascend to the throne he rightfully deserves, saving his people and the world?

According to Collider, The artistry of two-time Oscar nominated costumer Ruth E. Carter is on full display in the new images, where the Wakandan court is resplendent in their royal vestments. The cast is also a sight to behold, featuring Letitia Wright (“Black Mirror”) as Princess Shuri, Forest Whitaker (“Arrival”) as the king’s advisor Zuri, Daniel Kaluuya (“Get Out”) as W’Kabi and Danai Gurira (“The Walking Dead”) as another member of the elite Wakandan Secret Service, the Dora Milaje. Andy Serkis (“Lord of the Rings” trilogy), Martin Freeman (“The Hobbit”) and Winston Duke (“Person of Interest”) appear as Ulysses Klaue, Everett K. Ross and M’Baku, with Michael B. Jordan (“Creed”) starring as Killmonger. Rounding out the cast are Sterling K. Brown (“This Is Us”) and John Kani (“Captain America: Civil War”).

Ryan Coogler (“Creed”) directs off a script he and Joe Robert Cole (“American Crime Story”) wrote, based on the Marvel comics by legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Kevin Feige (“The Avengers”) and David J. Grant (“Doctor Strange”) produce. Lee, Victoria Alonso (“Iron Man”), Jeffrey Chernov (“Star Trek”), Louis D’Esposito (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), and Nate Moore (“Captain America: Civil War”) executive produced.
