Kristen Stewart has done well in choosing interesting parts to develop her range. In addition to this year’s Snow White and the Hunstman and On the Road, she just signed on for action thriller Cali. The film centers on Mya (Stewart) and Chris, a couple from San Fernando Valley who sell a fake snuff film and disappear with the money. But Mya — who’s thought to be dead — must head back to Cali years later to save the younger sister she left behind.- Variety

Ben Kinglsey, Armie Hammer, John Malkovich and Michael Sheen team up for thriller Cut Bank. The movie centers around Dwayne McLaren, a former high school football star and now auto mechanic desperate to escape his hometown of Cut Bank, Mont. His attempts to leave for a bigger city with his girlfriend, Cassandra, set in motion a series of events that will change his life, and the life of Cut Bank, forever. – Variety

Giancarlo Esposito, Idris Elba, Michael K Williams and Rosario Dawson will star in a Western short They Die By Dawn for British music artist Jaymes Samuel of The Bullits as a companion piece to his new album.- Indiewire
