John Krasinski may be joining the cast of J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi film “God Particle.” The former star of “The Office,” is in early talks for the film.
Krasinski would join previously announced stars David Oyelowo and Gugu Mbatha-Raw for the Paramount and Bad Robot project. J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing for Bad Robot.
Oyelowo and Mbatha-Raw will portray the leads in the film that is set to be directed by Julius Onah (“The Girl is in Trouble”). According to TheWrap, “God Particle” will follow an American space station crew who believe they have destroyed Earth through the use of a Hadron accelerator, and thus allow a crew of hostile nations to come aboard their spacecraft with disastrous repercussions.

He also has Nash Edgerton’s top-secret project “American Express” with Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried and Joel Edgerton coming down the pipeline.
