Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” rules the box office for the second weekend, according to Box Office Mojo.

The fifth film in the dino franchise added $60M to its domestic ticket sales. “Fallen Kingdom” will cross the $1B worldwide threshold this week. Of the $932M it has earned so far, $265M has been in the US.

Incredibles 2” also held onto its spot from last week, adding $45M to its three-week total. The Disney/Pixar sequel has brought in $440M in the US, and just under $650M worldwide. It seems American audiences really meant it when they spent fourteen years asking for the sequel.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado” opened in third with $19M. With a budget of $35M, and overseas earnings of around $8M, it managed to exceed expectations. But it still has a bit to go until it earns back its costs.

Lionsgate’s comedy “Uncle Drew” opened in fourth place with $15.5M. This film slipped a bit under the radar, so this opening is impressive. They are only reporting domestic box office right now, so we will have to wait and see if the film performs well in other markets.

The female-led heist comedy “Ocean’s 8” finishes out the top 5 with $8M. The tale of Danny Ocean’s sister Debbie has earned some $114M in the US, and around $209M worldwide, easily passing its $70M budget.

The bro-tastic comedy “Tag” moves into sixth place with $5.6M. That film hasn’t had as much fun in theaters, earning $41M in the US and around $8M internationally. But with a budget of $28M, it is faring well, too. “Deadpool 2” moves down to seventh with $3.4M and $719M worldwide.

Indian drama/biopic “Sanju” opened in eighth place with $2.5M in the US and $24M worldwide. It is the highest US opening for a film from Fox STAR release, and will probably be their highest grosser by the time final weekend numbers are confirmed.

Solo: A Star Wars Story” and the Mister Rogers documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” are duking it out between ninth and tenth place. Only $3,000 separate the two at the time of this writing with “Solo” just slightly ahead. The latest “Star Wars” installment sits at $207M in the US and nearly $370M worldwide. “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” has about $7.5M, without international numbers. It is the third highest grossing film out of Sundance 2018, and the second highest doc behind “RBG.”

Next week’s releases include “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” “The First Purge,” and “Sorry to Bother You.”
