‘Life Itself’ Begins Shooting in NYC with Morgan Freeman, Diane Keaton, and Cynthia Nixon

Production has begun on Revelations Entertainment’s comedy, Life Itself, which stars Academy Award winners Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton, as well as Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon. Richard Loncraine’s film is adapted from Jill Ciment’s acclaimed novel, “Heroic Measures.”

Ruth (Keaton) and Alex (Freeman) are an aging New York couple who have an eventful weekend, as they try to sell their Brooklyn apartment that they have lived together in for the last four decades. Their realtor (Nixon) feels they can make a lot of money of the sale, and the couple become enticed by the idea of having more wealth in their aging years than they imagined having. But unforeseeable events threaten to get in the way of their sale and affect their pending finances.

Life Itself is set to arrive in 2014, though no release date has been set.

Lover of all things film and Oscar. Fantasy sports’ equivalent of George Steinbrenner. Your very own Han Solo, making friends all over the movie-loving galaxy in spite of himself. When he’s not ranking just about everything or dominating boardgames, Mark is breaking down the Oscar race 24/7 with Rain Man-like stats and knowledge. In his downtime, you can find him commiserating with other Northeast Ohio sports fans because a hero isn’t complete without a little heartbreak. If Game of Thrones, Lost, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and Survivor are your style, then congratulations, you have something in common with this inglourious basterd.
