The program for the 42nd Telluride Film Festival has been announced! There are a few films on the agenda most of us expected to see, headlined by Universal’s Steve Jobs, starring Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Other films I am excited to get the chance to see include Carol (Cannes winner), starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, Sarah Paulson, and Kyle Chandler; Room, starring Brie Larson, Joan Allen, and William H. Macy; Suffragette, starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Meryl Streep, Ben Wishaw, and Brendan Gleeson; Black Mass, starring Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson, Joel Edgerton, Juno Temple, and Kevin Bacon; Spotlight, starring Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Liev Shreiber, Mark Ruffalo, Stanley Tucci, and John Slattery; and Beasts of No Nation, starring Idris Elba.

In about twelve hours, I’ll be reporting to you from the ground in Telluride, so be sure to follow along as I bring you reviews of each film I see. Follow me on Twitter @MarkLikesMovies for instant reactions.
