‘Little Women,’ ‘Marriage Story,’ & ‘Jojo Rabbit’ Lead Denver Film Critics Society Nominations

The Denver Film Critics Society (DFCS) announced their full list of 2019 film nominees.

Two much talked about feature films, “Little Women” and “Marriage Story,” each landed six nominations, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress and their respective screenplay categories. Where Noah Baumbach missed out, Greta Gerwig landed a Best Director mention for her period piece adaptation.

Also with sex mentions is Taika Waititi’s “Jojo Rabbit,” appearing in for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Score. Scarlett Johansson was nominated for two acting categories, as supporting in “Jojo Rabbit” and as lead in “Marriage Story.”
