As reported by Deadline, Sci-Fi film “Cosmic Sin,” starring Bruce Willis has announced its full supporting cast, as the feature is currently in post-production. The film has managed to wrap production prior to lockdown, amid the growing COVID-19 pandemic that has seen the majority of filming suspended across the world.

Among the announced cast are Luke Wilson (“The Goldfinch”), Frank Grillo (“Captain America: Civil War”), Adelaide Kane (“The Purge”), Lochlyn Munro (“Riverdale”) and WWE star C.J. Perry a.k.a. Lana.

Andreas Wiseman at Deadline writes that “Cosmic Sin” is about “a group of warriors and scientists who must fight to protect humanity from a hostile alien species with the power to infect and take over human hosts.”

The film is directed by Edward Drake, who recently completed production on another independent feature, “Broil” as well as previously directing “Animals.” Drake has co-written along with Corey Large, who together have collaborated on the upcoming “Anti-Life,” also starring Willis.

Deadline reveals that “Cosmic Sin” had launched sales at the 2020 European Film Market (EFM) and that Saban Films had “previously acquired North American rights.” There is currently no set release date for the film, and one shouldn’t be expected for a while, especially with the closure of cinemas around the world, leaving any scheduled release dates up in the air.

Wilson had a busy 2019, starring in a handful of feature films including “The Goldfinch,” “Zombieland: Double Tap,” and “Berlin, I Love You” as well as the opening episode of the third season of the anthology series “Room 104.”

Grillo meanwhile is best known for his role as Brock Rumlow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having appeared in both “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Captain America: Civil War” as well as a small role in “Avengers: Endgame.” He also appeared in “The Purge: Anarchy” and “The Purge: Election Year” as Sergeant Leo Barnes.
