One of the great reality television shows of the 2000s was undeniably “The Hills,” which became a pop culture phenomenon. The series was a spin-off of “Laguna Beach,” another hit show of the era. The series mostly followed Lauren Conrad, who was featured as the lead for first fives seasons. She then handed the show off to Kristin Cavallari, who currently headlines “Very Cavallari.” The legacy of the show continues to spawn fans today, making MTV’s news a no-brainer. “The Hills: New Beginnings” will bring the beloved reality stars back to the small screen.
MTV announced today the “The Hill: New Beginnings” will return in 2019. The show will bring back some of the original cast members, and infuse the show with new blood as well. Their lives have changed in the years since 2010, when the final episodes of the series aired. Now, some of the stars have children, careers in L.A., or have changed their lives in drastic ways.

Some of the cast members attended the VMAs to announce the news, and it instantly made waves on social media. For fans of reality TV, this makes sense as must-watch television. “Jersey Shore” returned to huge ratings, and “The Hills” was just as big when it was on air.
