New Poster for ‘Life Itself’ puts Roger Ebert front and center

life-itself-posterMaybe I’m too close to the material, being as I’m one of the countless who were inspired by the life and the work of the late film critic Roger Ebert, but I’ve long suspected that the documentary Life Itself is our Best Documentary Feature frontrunner. We’ll get a better idea of its chances this summer when it comes out after its run on the festival circuit, but we have a Poster to share with you all now that showcases the one and only Ebert in all of his glory. When he’s not obsessing over new Oscar predictions on a weekly basis, Joey is seeing between 300 and 350 movies a year. He views the best in order to properly analyze the awards race/season each year, but he also watches the worst for reasons he mostly sums up as "so you all don't have to". In his spare time, you can usually find him complaining about the Jets or the Mets. Still, he lives and dies by film. Joey's a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
