First Man definitely needed this boost. Now SAG needs to revive Widows if it still stands a legitimate shot for Best Picture. Take away First Man from the Best Pic lineup and it’s the current 9 right now. Hoping for things to still shakeup, especially after the guilds weigh in (where I believe First Man should do well).

I don’t remember there being 7 nominees per category before. Is this a rule change or a gross amount of ties? I see some still have 6… but man… these nominees lose so much value when there are dang near 7 per category. Still much I have to see, but the fact that Eighth Grade And A Quiet Place are missing BP nods here is frustrating… considering they are the 2 runaway best movies of the year.
