PaleyFest LA Announces 2019 Lineup: ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ to Open the Festival

The Paley Center for Media just announced the lineup for PaleyFest, a yearly festival devoted to the field of television. The festival will open with the cast and crew of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” doing a panel. Additional panels with celebrate the final seasons of both “Jane the Virgin” and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”

Meanwhile, “Parks and Recreation” will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. As previously announced, a panel with the cast and series creator, Mike Schur, will take place. Other festival panels include “Pose,” “This Is Us,” and the “Twilight Zone” reboot.

Maureen J. Reidy, the president and CEO of the Paley Center, said this in a statement regarding the festival lineup:

“We’re thrilled to announce this incredible lineup of programs. We’re so proud that our lineup reflects the diversity of the television viewing experience — from history-making programs highlighting the LGBTQ+ community, to Emmy Award-winning comedies and dramas with strong female characters, action-packed adventure series and a conversation with one of the sharpest voices on late-night TV. This year’s selections epitomize why PaleyFest LA is the premier television festival.”

PaleyFest LA is a premiere destination for any television buff. As one can see, it also celebrates inclusivity in the field of television as well.
